It's good that the new mixes of the masters can have their vinyl release, they sound pretty good. (Still not excellent, but good).
Together with "Fun in Acapulco" , this must be one of my favorite soundtracks.

When FTD announced Harem Holiday a couple of days ago, they said on the sales sheet that the LPs would be individually numbered. Just had an e mail today to say that won’t be the case.

I was a bit disappointed with the new remix of "Harum Scarum." In my opinion, it sounds too
similar to the original mix. The channels are further apart, but the music is still too far in the
background. This leaves Elvis's vocals too prominent.

The soundtrack mixes sound better on the "Double Features" version. I would have preferred
the mono master instead of the new mix.

Last Tours Vol. 3 is a good mix of 50% available material and 50% new stuff.

While checking out Keith's Site I realized that there is nothing released from the may 77 tour (bootleg AND FTD) even thought almost every show was recorded. So, Vol. 4 should be very interesting.

If there will be a fourth volume, that is. We're also not quite sure which shows from May are in the archive, if any.

Rather surprised they went with Harum Scarum for the vinyl - but the packaging looks great.

No word on a Sessions Set yet?

A shame if that's true.
