If you go to Blu-ray.com you will see that they have listed an EPiC Blu-ray coming out by Decal in 2026.

If it will indeed be released on bluray in 2026 it will be towards the end of the year I guess. It will have to complete it's run in the cinemas first, I think. But let's hope it will!

Things have changed over the years, and if it gets a Blu-ray release, I expect it to come out during the summer.
A streaming VOD version would likely arrive sooner, as they are often available 2-3 months after the cinema premiere.
But this is typical hollywood movies so maybe EPIC is something different...time will show.

Patience young Padawan. There will be a 4K version. And a DVD. For sure.

Personally, I’m perfectly happy with a standard Bluray rather than 4K.
I see very little difference in picture quality between 4K and 1080p without DV/HDR on my OLED tv.
With HDR, however, there is quite a noticeable improvement but usually I do skip buying 4k releases
in general due to much higher price.
(thinking of it regarding Epic I do think I would go for a 4k release if available )
A single-disc Bluray release is also fine, but it depends on whether it’s dual-layer or not … and
whether it includes only the film with no extras at all, which is often the case with Elvis releases.
Just the movie itself will look great on a BR25 disc but obviously we hope that a BR50 one is used if
only released on Bluray (much highter bitrate on video and sound aka much less compressed)

Hope we're not getting 'half-baked' songs throughout this movie-documentary-whatever...

Would like to see complete songs/performances within and throughout the complete running time of this production on screen...🤔

as far as i'm aware most songs in the movie aren't complete performances.

Bah!! And in the name of being half-baked - it's a crazy little thing called 'Hype'!!!
You've confirmed my feelings of skepticism about seeing this movie-documentary-whatever...thought it was too good to be true!!
Many Thanks for the heads-up, Johnny...☹️

On reflection, it does seem like rather a strange approach to compile a film of Elvis Presley In Concert and not include complete performances. I know Baz favours a cut up / music video style approach, but this would have still been possible with complete songs...

For the most part, at least we got complete live song performances throughout Elvis' 2 seventies movie-documentaries...

But, then again, with "EPiC" I don't think Baz even knows how to categorize this production with its considerably EDITED unreleased performances which have been segued together with EDITED unreleased dialogue...🤔☹️

I have no problem with the cut up style, as they have to make it look fresh and visually exciting. I don't know exactly what's in the film, but if we take Hound Dog for example (and the same would apply to a number of other songs) there are multiple performances across the footage for the two documentaries, so a montage of images isn't a bad idea.

However, what I don't agree with is that footage of Elvis in his prime singing Suspicious Minds In The Ghetto or Proud Mary etc needs to be truncated in some way in order to hold the viewers attention. The flashy editing is fine, but the most important thing is the music.

To clarify, I am looking forward to seeing it, but if they don't include extended extras on the physical release, it could turn out to be a very frustrating experience...

I'm mostly annoyed with Burning Love having the RPO audio (a clip mix of rehearsals and the greensboro footage) and from what i read in the ghetto from TTWII also featuring the RPO version.

Can consider never been to spain an almost complete performance as the guitar solo was cut out..

I saw a fan filmed clip of Polk Salad Annie that I wasn't altogether happy with. The mix of rehearsal and live footage was very well done, but rather than sync this to one performance (preferably live), they appear to have used the original audio for all clips.

This made the performance sound uneven, and it was very noticeable when the audio switched from the live recording to the sparser rehearsal audio...

Jeezo, this sounds like a right fake EDITED mish-mash of what was once beautiful complete footage 🤬😡
