Elvis pulled into the station at Gayoso and Second for repairs and was besieged by fans. Hopper, the station manager, ordered Presley away and a brief altercation ensued. Station employee Aubrey Brown tries to help his boss, but is no match for Presley. After police are called, Hopper and Brown are charged with assault and are eventually fined $25 and $15 respectively.

Elvis was booked on charges of assault and battery and disorderly conduct, together with 2 others. Apparently Elvis stopped for gas at a pump station and was surrounded by fans. The man from the gas station didn’t liked that and told Elvis to move on. Then there was a fight and when the man pulled a knife Elvis gave him a black eye.
