The Follow That Dream collectors label announced the release of the double LP 'Good Times - The Outtakes' as a Limited Numbered Edition of 3,500 copies on ocean blue colored vinyl.
Side 1: Take Good Care of Her - rehearsal and take 1 / Loving Arms - take 1 and rehearsal / I Got a Feelin' in My Body - take 1 / If That Isn't Love - take 1 / She Wears My Ring - take 8 / I've Got a Thing about You, Baby - take 1 / My Boy - take 1 Elvis Presley
Side 2: Talk about the Good Times - take 3 / Spanish Eyes - takes 1, 2 / Good Time Charlie's Got the Blues - takes 7, 8 / I Got a Feelin' in My Body - take 4 / I've Got a Thing about You, Baby - take 14 / My Boy - take 2 / Take Good Care of Her - take 4.
Side 3: I've Got a Thing about You, Baby - takes 6, 8, 10, 11 / Loving Arms - take 2 / I Got a Feelin' in My Body - take 2 / Good Time Charlie's Got the Blues - takes 1, 4, 6 / Take Good Care of Her - takes 2, 3 / Spanish Eyes - take 4 (undubbed master).
Side 4: Talk about the Good Times - takes 1, 2 / Talk about the Good Times - take 4 (undubbed master) / She Wears My Ring - takes 1 - 7 / I Got a Feelin' in My Body - take 7 / My Boy - take 3 (undubbed master) / Good Time Charlie's Got the Blues - take 9 (unedited undubbed master) / If That Isn't Love - splice of takes 5 (LFS) and 7.
* This is a re-issue of the original Good Times vinyl released in 2009 as 'Good Times – The Outtakes' (506020-975011) but with a new sleeve and coloured vinyl.
Some collectors are seeing this a blatant rip off as they have been collecting all of FTD releases since day one and do not really want to have to spend another $75.

Tried adding photo in the "add file" method but it does not appear to work - photo file is shown but it does not get added to the comment. I can add if I use the "Insert Image option" but then it seems to require a website link

IMO… A pity if this reissue comes at the expense of a new FTD title with new material.
But i`m sure many vinyl collectors will be happy with this news.

Well in recent times, FTD vinyl releases seem to get hit with delays, so yes, if this comes at the expense of an album that has not been released before on vinyl, it's anyones guess when a new one will come out. But what collectors also do not want is two vinyls appearing at the same time or close to one another - $150 is a lot of money for some, especially when they are playing the Limited Edition thing again for this release in an attempt to boost sales.

Thanks for the report! I don't see the option for inline images either. Where you using a mobile phone? Not that it should matter, as inline should work for all. Will make this top priority to get fixed.

Thanks Jordan - I tried using iPad and laptop but nothing happens. And as you say, the in-line option is not there either.

I've edited your OP with the image added "inline". Must have been a server burp!

Looks very nice.
The first presssing was poor sounding, if you ask me. They've very much improved since then!

Given that the first pressing was limited, theoretically they could use the same stampers for this re-issue. And given that FTD work within certain budget constraints, this would seem likely. Therefore, there's nothing to suggest that this reissue will sound any better...

Releases like these are the reason I have abandoned collecting FTD vinyls quite some years ago now. This release is just about milking the market.

I concur... specially given this little proviso "*Previously released in 2009 as Good Times – The Outtakes (506020-975011)"

Which is disappointing given there are other albums that are yet to be released... with 3500 be pressed, I can see this one hanging around on dealer shelves for a very long time. Dealers are still carrying "Raised On Rock" from 2021 and I don't think they pressed more than 2000 of those...

But Camden releases were at a budget price and you could walk into a record shop and not have to pay shipping, So overall, they were not a big hit on the wallet.
FTD vinyls are just so expensive especially when shipping gets added. But I paid just £78 for
three Music on Vinyl double albums last month - this new release is costing £55 for just one double album set. And If this FTD release is for new fans as you suggest or even the few who missed out on the original FTD release, why is there a need to press 3,500 copies. That’s nearly twice as many as current regular FTD vinyl releases which are not even advertised as Limited Editions. As somebody wrote elsewhere, this is an FTD Cash Grab in an attempt to get fans who bought the original version from 2009 to buy yet again.
