………there’s so little activity here, I guess more members are needed as well.

As expected, things are quieter—and admittedly, a bit duller—now. When FECC disappeared, we lost a tremendous amount of valuable information, both for ourselves and for future fans. I think you are right, unfortunately. No other forum will probably be as huge as FECC. It would be nice though if this forum could, at least, grow into a place where fans can share and discuss their shared hobby. After FECC’s closure, several new forums emerged, scattering fans across different platforms such as The King’s Realm, Phoenix, 15562days, Steve Hoffman’s forum, and others. As a result, both information and engagement became diluted. Some fans no longer wish to participate after seeing everything they helped build fall apart. Instead, they now prefer to simply read updates on sites like Elvis Day by Day rather than join discussions in forums.
We must accept that things will likely never be the same. It’s nearly impossible to reunite everyone in one place again. As I mentioned before, you can’t rebuild in a few years what took decades to create...

I’ve seen many Elvis forums come and go over the years without much activity.

Phoenix had been running for years, and following the nastiness that occurred, was up and running again within a day or so hosted by a new host, but it remained behind closed doors.
