Just borrowed this book as an audiobook, but to be honest, I’m no Priscilla fan... I neither like or trust her.
I listened through the L.M. Presley book when it came out, and that one was worth the time.
Has anyone already read/listened to this book and can say whether Priscilla book is worth spending time on?
The audiobook runs for 10 hours and 30 minutes.

I am not a fan of hers and this seems more like damage control following the Lisa book

Several years back, Pris was in my city flogging Elvis bedsheets and the women in my office all went to see her and were shocked that I did not.

I was going to buy it as the last item added to my elvis collection, but have decided to pass on it

the last item I bought was Lisa marie's book and I got it from graceland so I got the bonus picture with what is supposed to be Reily's autograph, but is signed with just the letter R

According to the source, Daisy Jones & the Six star Riley Keough — Lisa Marie’s 36-year-old daughter — is “upset” about the memoir but “she’s holding her tongue.”

I just finished listening to the audio book and liked it a lot. Apart from 2 or 3 minor factual errors, Priscilla comes across very open and honest and doesn't contradict Lisa's memories. She more or less confirms them in her own words and offers some explanations and background on why she did what she did.
There's also a lot of information about Navarone's struggles with addiction which I didn't know of, since he was always in the background. In my opinion she is not trying to white wash anything and I don't know if the book is meant as damage control. That's too late anyway. As in everyone's life, there are many perspectives to the same situation, since everyone is different and evaluates and assesses every situation based on his or her own experiences and background. That's human nature.
So summarizing, to me it was worth hearing the audio book and it is also one part of the puzzle regarding Elvis's life.

.
This is an "I'm no longer getting an income from the estate and my last ditch effort to make money off of Elvis' name" book... hard pass. I have nothing against the woman, specially for all she did early on after Elvis died to save his estate, but I learned enough about her from her first book.

I have the opportunity to listen to both the new Priscilla book and the new
Guralnick one, but it’s just not tempting to me.
Usually, I listen to or read new books as soon as possible, but not regarding these.
