Making of Blue Hawaii

First of all this is not a critism on Making of Blue Hawaii but an addition to some details.
I understand preparing the book you’ve to make choices about including important documents, To save space you must make edits and you can’t print all kind of the complete documents in the book. For sure with pages wich are not very important.
On page 14 is mentioned a portion of 2 page letter from the censor dated 31 january 1961.

Thank you! This kind of documents are very interesting. They show the differences in what is and isn't acceptable in 1960 and the present day. Today things like "shaking her grass" wouldn't be a problem I guess. Today there are far more vulgar teksts in a lot of movies and lyrics.

From the first song selection:
Chant - written by Dudley Brooks & Charles O’Curran.
An instrumental part (1:32) was used in the movie (reel 4 before Can’t help fallin’ in love).
