In 1976, RCA could no longer get Elvis Presley to return to the studio to record. It had only been 11 months since he had been in a studio to record the incredible Today album, and according to bassist Larry Strickland, studio work was no longer among his favorite things. "He had already recorded a lot of material," says Strickland. So, to get another album, Felton Jarvis brought RCA’s mobile recording unit and set it up in Presley’s basement, the "Jungle Room." Oh man, I love hearing Elvis' voice up in front of the mix compared to the original release. It's too buried in certain songs after Felton's changes. I'll have this on repeat all day.

Amazing somebody went through the trouble to do this. But i do have one grasp. I would have preferred that any sort of remix and the overdubbed masters or different mixes of masters to have been placed all the way to the end as a compilation, as for me you lose the session feeling by hearing the same Master over and over in a different mix. The 1980 remixes also don't really belong here.
