Thinking about different movies that may, or may not, deserve a FTD book/combo on their own... What would you all think of 2 or 3 combo releases that combine some of the "lesser succesful" and "smaller soundtrack" movies? These books wouldn't need to be combined with complete sessions (that's what the 8" sets are for). They could be combined with 1 or 2 CD'S with, for example, the mono masters, demo's, radio spots etc. That way the fans that don't want the expensive books don't miss out on really essential recordings, like with the '72 book/CD combo.

For the movies Spinout and Paradise Hawaiian Style are around 30-40 different rejected demo acetates known for each movie. I don’t know FTD has all these demos in their archive for release.

They could just do 1 CD with the most interesting rejected demos they have.

I'd like to see the Memphis 1974 shows recorded on soundboard put into a CD/Book set.

Besides I doubt all these rejected demo acetates are in the FTD archive it’s difficult to choose for a single CD from the number of rejects. Not mentioned tracks with one rejected demo. Example for PHS:
- Hawaiian paradise – 2 rejects;

- A dog’s life – 5 rejects;
1 - A dog's life
version # 1 - rejected song written by Tepper-Bennett
version # 2 - rejected song written by Tepper-Bennett with lyric changes in verse 2.

2 - A dog’s life
Rejected song written by Joy Byers.

3 - (It’s) A dog’s life
Rejected song written by Wise-Starr.

4 - A dog’s life
Rejected song written by Sid Wayne-Ben Weisman.

5 - I would rather lead a dog’s life
Rejected song written by Herb Goldberg-David Hess.

- Polynesian paradise – 5 rejects;

- Scratch my back – 3 rejects;

- This is my heaven – 2 rejects.
