I always liked Elvis' performance of 'When the snow is on the roses', even if it is just one verse. 'Little green apples' would also fitted Elvis like a glove.

According to Ivory Joe Hunter’s widow and his publisher the song was recorded during may 1971 recording sessions with the other “piano-songs”. In a mail from 4 october 2010 Ernst Jorgensen stated the song maybe selected but not recorded although a few tapes from this may 1971 session are missing.
The song is registered at BMI.

Reportedly Elvis recorded the song in 1967. Source book: His life from A to Z / fanclubmagazines.
There is no proof Elvis recorded this song.

The song was probably selected for recording on the 20 january 1977 session; however this recording session was cancelled.
The song was recorded in november 1977 by Carl Perkins with producer Felton Jarvis (Jet 117).

The song was written by David Bellamy.
The song was probably selected for recording on the 20 january 1977 session; however this recording session was cancelled.
The song was recorded in september 1978 by The Bellamy Brothers for an album.

The song was written by Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice.
According to a site with Andrew Lloyd Webber facts this song and It’s easy for you were selected for recording at october 1976 sessions. It’s easy for you was recorded and this song was rejected.

Ain’t funny
The song was written by Joy Byers in 1962; the demo version was rejected by Hill and Range.
The song was recorded later on november 1962 by Gerri Granger (Big bop 45-3128). For the other side of this single she recorded “Don’t want your letters” = Return the sender with different lyrics.

For the movie "Take me to the fair" aka "It happened at the world's fair" - opening (scene 4) were selected the next songs:

According to this tape legend Glen Campbell recorded these demo version written by Ben Weisman (see scan previous post)

According to the Hal Wallis papers in the Margaret Herrick Library he got outside the recorded tracks the next demo acetates for the movie Paradise Hawaiian style:

(It’s) a dog life (Tepper-Bennett) = 2 versions rejected (see above);
