Danny with count-in
Danny with count-in
I'd like to know if anyone has listened to "Danny" with the count-in on the new CD "Lonely Blue Boy" released by Bennies Fifties and if they can put it online...
Thanks in advance

Re: Danny with count-in
It's from an acetate source (like it's mentioned on the cover) and sounds exactly like that.
A count in ("one, two, three, four"), followed by the original (and known) 'Danny', but in the quality of a sctratching record.
Nothing earthshattering

Re: Danny with count-in
Honestly, Nico, you're not missing anything. Many of the tracks on that CD are sourced from MP3s, and the count-in on "Danny" is obviously spliced in—the audio shift is jarring even without headphones. It’s a sh!tty release, plain and simple.nico wrote: August 23rd, 2025, 1:06 am I'd like to know if anyone has listened to "Danny" with the count-in on the new CD "Lonely Blue Boy" released by Bennies Fifties and if they can put it online...

It appears to be the correct count in or movie cue for this song.
Kevan Budd.
