Rejected tracks

Post by colonel snow »

Young hearts
The song should be recorded for the movie Jailhouse rock (track 2018). The song was rejected but recorded on 31 may 1957 by Jim Reeves (RCA47-6973).

Mentioned in this letter Old devil blues / Automatic baby / Fallen angel / A band of angels. I've no information about these songs in the 50's. For fallen angels are several tracks known.

Just gave 'Wham Bam...' a listen. Yep... a message song indeed.

This is a great track, it would have been interesting to hear Elvis tackle it.
