My guess would be... a Big AI job! Yes, Elvis did a 'special' version at this party. We indeed have the lyrics he sang. But I do not believe this is Elvis singing.

It’s AI, of course. Produced by Jamie Kelly, who did Poor Man’s Gold and a Christmas song based on Big Boots.

Re: Is this Elvis singing or the best AI job ever????
I have the whole unedited version with all the lyrics.
Even the chap who announced Elvis before the sit downs and stand ups sounds the same. I can only think that one of the 68 It Hurts Me outtakes was used and a number of the words have been changed via AI. From start to finish it sounds like Elvis with all the quirks and mannerisms.
Every single AI I have heard sounds nothing like Elvis - especially Poor Mans Gold but this 68 one fools me and 3 other hardcore fans who I have played it to.
I know it says Happy Birthday Colonel from the EAP appreciation society but that even sounds like it was part of the comedic event at the time.

The EAP Appreciation Society is the name of Jaime Kelly’s website and association. He’s a very well known Elvis fan and tribute artist which accounts for his excellent AI productions. He’s also based his AI’s on tracks where there is a guide for how Elvis should sound on it, i.e., It Hurts Me, Poor Man’s Gold, and Big Boots.

Yes. I know who Jaime Kelly is and thus far I do not think he sounds like Elvis with AI except on this - I guess he hadlechersteve wrote: January 2nd, 2026, 4:01 pm The EAP Appreciation Society is the name of Jaime Kelly’s website and association. a whole song to mimic on this one and has AI to change the actual sound of his voice too.

Even with the power of AI now and the efforts to muffle the sound i still don't think this sounds like Elvis.

I think it sounds very good.
Does anyone have the Big Boots Ai? I can’t find it anywhere.

I think if we are a few years further in time no one is gonna see what is real and what is AI
And AI is a standard unfortunately.
Don't know if we can see this as a good thing.

Sadly I think you are spot on, plus the way Elvis’ life and career is being changed by social media posts new fans will have no idea what’s real and what’s not.Jans wrote: January 4th, 2026, 6:05 am I think if we are a few years further in time no one is gonna see what is real and what is AI

It could be used for worthy causes such as creating new stereo mixes from mono sources or multitracks mixes from 4 track recordings. It would also be useful for improving substandard informal or live recordings.Jans wrote: January 4th, 2026, 6:05 am I think if we are a few years further in time no one is gonna see what is real and what is AI

However, as social media is already flooded with fake photographs and fake videos - which many people choose to think are genuine, even if you tell them otherwise - its a very delicate balance between the positives and the negatives at the moment.
The biggest issue is the preservation of Elvis' legacy in terms of original film and audio recordings. If you set up a random stream of Elvis music via your provider of choice, you will most likely hear a number of duets, remixes and RPO tracks - most of which come from official channels - mixed in with the original recordings.
The problem with this being that new / casual listeners won't know the difference. I have no problem with these remakes being out there, and I have enjoyed quite a few of them myself, but it should be made abundantly clear what is original and what isn't.
Of course, I'm referring to mixes which use original Elvis vocals at the moment, but once the market is flooded with (A.I.) Elvis sings songs he never a recorded /modern pop hits etc. it's only going to get worse...
