"Bridge Over Troubled Water", "June '66 Sessions" & a few Elvis One limited collectors editions

Talk about Elvis Presley. Anything goes. Anything? Yes, really!

There was already a release of this show in 1994, the artwork is very primitive, the sound very decent.
I like the performance a lot, the closing with "Bridge" is different to hear.
But will the new version be an upgrade?

Yep, that's pretty awful, but the other cover is for real.

Of course it'll will have "improved sound"... how else could they sell it? (aside from the stellar fake, ridiculous photo on the front)

Comparing the two 1971 versions to eachother and while the 'new' version seems to be slightly louder, it's basicly the same.
So if you don't have this nice concert, with the unique ending, it's one to get.

Listend to it, it's for the hardcore collector.
It's an album where the most interesting part is the non Elvis stuff, like the recordings did by Red West, it gives an insight in the recording proces, creating the backing tracks when Elvis was to sick to come in to lay his vocals.(And it combines all the tracks scattered on different boots)
In fact the most part of the cd is non Elvis, there are some instrumental tracks too.
The home recordings is said they are remastered, and yes, they do sound pretty good.

Is it interesting?
Yes for the hardcore collector, but it's in no way an "Elvis cd".
For a cheap price it's nice enough.
