While Elvis was in Denver he talked for quite some time with the off-duty policemen, who were assigned to protect him. He showed them his collection of police badges and he was disappointed when they could only come up with an honorary badge. He even made plans to come back to Denver to collect a real badge. He also invited the Denver policemen to come to see him the next time he would play Las Vegas.
