I got hold of a copy of 'It Won't Seem Like Christmas Without You' this weekend.

The sleeve notes that it is mastered by BBJ but there is no signature in the deadwax

This release is from 1983. The sleeve design is identical to 'Memories of Christmas' released the year before but the track listing is completely different. Still, it has a nice sound consistent with BBJ's work on other releases.

i thought this was released in the U K in 1982. I remember buying this and the USA version at about the same time.

Just saw this on ebay:

https://ebay.us/m/vlT7wK

I'm not bidding as the record looks in poor shape.

However, I know the INTS pressing of this title was mastered by BBJ, but I guess its possible that this later SF pressing was also newly mastered?

Cut by Jack Adams according to the Discogs review.

Yes, that's correct it was first issued in the UK the year before in 1982. I think the "Memories of Christmas" LP which had the same cover design but somewhat different tracklisting was the US version of this Yuletide project. The US version also had less tracks on it.

Never saw this version before. Thanks for sharing. Could you photograph the label as well?

The label does not refer to the INTS catalogue number - so looks like the UK release was a bit of an afterthought

Help me out someone:Does this mean that the INTS release we have in our BBJ list actually has an UK sleeve and German PL vinyl, and there doesn't exist a copy with INTS vinyl pressed in UK?

From memory, this was a new release which was sold at mid price, so RCA UK issued it on the blue label but used the INTS prefix.

The NL pressings appeared a couple of years later when the pressing operation had moved to Germany, so I'm guessing there was likely a transitional period when German albums were sold in UK sleeves.

From Discogs it seems that it is the 1982 version that has the BBJ signature and was pressed in the UK and the 1983 version (this version) was pressed in Germany (presumably from the same stamper as BBJ is listed on the cover)

Having now gone through the photos in Discogs,i'm inclined to think it is like you wrote there. Will update the list accordingly.

INTS 5235 was issued in December 1982
NL 89025 was a 1983 German pressing of the same title
Pressings of NL 89025 with the corresponding NL sleeve were issued in October 1984

It uses the same plates as this one.

He probably wasn't but Aloha was released on the black label and it was done by him.
I think it's a bit strange that FEIM and From Memphis To Vegas weren't released on the green RCA International label when most of the albums pre-1973 were reissued on that label.

I guess Bob Jones might have been cutting Elvis records before he started signing them??

I think he worked for Decca in the 60's but back then, signing lacquers wasn't common. In theory he could have cut some of the Rolling Stones Decca albums.

well I am 3 away from completing my Boppin Bob collection, but must admit it`s getting pretty hard now. I am very surprised (maybe I shouldn't be ;)) that some of these sellers have no idea what I am talking about with regards to BB etchings signature. Anyway, any help would be appreciated.

ELVIS IN HOLLYWOOD CBR 014
A DATE WITH ELVIS NL 90360
SOMETHING FOR EVERYBODY INTS 5135

some have answered "no etching" or not BB, but someone else, and many do not even answer me
