I got these two .....LPs....very early on as an Elvis fan in the early ’80s, so they have a special place in my heart.
The Las Vegas Years probably has my favorite cover of all time — what an amazing photo from September 1970 (Phoenix?).
I don’t have the vinyls anymore, so I had to post the CD editions — but I’m sure these are well known among Elvis vinyl collectors.
Especially The Las Vegas Years is highly recommended for any vinyl collectors here.

I agree with you @KingElvis that The Las Vegas Years has a really an excellent sleeve. Really dynamic photo which would give general public more nicer view of Elvis during those years

Content-wise it of course is a copy of the "Las Vegas Years" lp from the Elvis Aron Presley box set a.ka "Silver box" released in 1980. That was probably the best disc in that box. I got the box sometime iin 1982 and played it to death, especially the Las Vegas Years. The sound was excellent and I still think those Vegas tracks were mixed and mastered exceptionally well.

The Las Vegas Years years photo is exciting

the Aloha one is not sharp, and too close to the more iconic images from that concert

Looks like a really nice copy :)
IMO its much better to waith instead of buying a worn copy of a album...and `"ring wear" or split seam is a big no no.
I remember as a kid having a huge challenge getting this LP in the 80s as it was OOP.

Yeah... my collection is 95% NM in terms of the vinyl (I have CD's as well). I haven't really been adding much lately... I keep thinking about long term and what eventually will happen with my collection. May give some serious thought to selling it to a bigger collector as a package deal but I'm in no hurry.

Yes, I agree. The reason I sold about 80-90% of my collection a few years ago is, as you say, the future — meaning I don’t want my relatives to inherit it and have no idea about its value and so on.Not to mention all the work that comes with selling a huge collection.
Also, my experience is that it’s getting harder and harder to get a good price for the items. The easiest to sell were most of the FTD vinyls, while the CDs and RCA vinyls were much harder.

This has been known for decades. This November 55 promo record is extensively documented on Elvisrecords.com E-Z Pop Programming No. 5. A cool find: yes, sure. Mind blowing news? Not really.

The easiest thing is to start putting your records on Ebay but as you are from Canada I would wait a little bit @NinaFromCanadaEh. Since the US market for Elvis stuff still is the main market, I have spoken quite a few dealers from Canada over the last weeks who have had sever trouble shipping into the US because of the tariffs. I used to ship my purchases from Canada to my US mailing address to bundle all orders to Europe, but now I have orders from Canada shipped directly to avoid all the import hassles.
You can send me a list of the available LPs if you like, I might be interested in some.

Always found it to be an odd choice to put a 1961 on a live album (in case of) Live In Action. I remember the record being bashed for the design and sound quality so I never came around buying it. Some of those early bootlegs have outstanding designs though, the Loving You Sessions is marvellous (although the photo used was a Love Me Tender shot). Heard great stories on the Music On Vinyl releases, but I do not collect them. I am more of a historic vinyl type of guy ;) Great selection @AfoolSuchAsI.!
