Not the first 'Colonel' exhibit.
In 2009 there was one in Breda. (The Netherlands)
This was 100 years after mister van Kuijk was born there.

I don't remember much of it.
Here's a weblink about it in Dutch.

It was an event in Breda, Colonels birthplace, put together by ElvisMatters(at the time a fanclub for fans, now it's much lesser) build around 100 years Parker with a tour around Breda (didn't do that), a concert in the evening , a movie afternoon with 'On tour" original print and a nice expo.
From what i remember, not too much about the Colonel (or i didn't take pics of that, can't remember) but more about Elvis and the TCB band.
Oh, and it was nice to meet up with Sue Mccasland and Ed Bonja there too.
(I've got many more pics)

Colonel Parker has a place in Breda
June 25, 2009, 1:12 PM

BREDA – The festivities marking the centenary of Colonel Parker, Elvis Presley's manager, have begun. Thursday morning, the fan club "Elvis Matters" unveiled a plaque in Veemarktstraat. A little later, an exhibition about Parker and Elvis was launched at Holland Casino.

The cloth was removed from the plaque by the surviving family of André van Kuijk, as Elvis's manager was known at his birth. The certificate will temporarily hang at the rear of Van Kuijk's birthplace. After the festivities, a permanent location for the plaque will be sought. In recent days, Elvis fans and Breda experts have debated the appropriate location. According to the fan club, there was no doubt: the chosen facade best reflects Parker's legacy.

The unveiling attracted considerable interest. Among the at least 60 spectators were several fans from the United States. Numerous media outlets, including NOS and Omroep Brabant, were also present.

After the unveiling, the group headed to Holland Casino, where an exhibition was opened by Ed Bonja, the King's former tour manager and photographer. "I'm proud to be here and I want to thank everyone who contributed," said Bonja. "I knew Parker and Elvis better than most of those present. They were unique people, and they're being portrayed here in a unique way."

There will be several performances in the city over the next few days.
