A new Bruce Jackson book "Bruce Jackson: Superstar Of Sound" out in January
Go on https://vimeo.com/watch , type in "AUG 22 2025 HURT PROMO" in the search box & you'll see the short video promo
https://www.brucejackson.com.au
"What Bruce Jackson did for their live sound took Elvis Presley, Bruce Springsteen, Barbra Streisand and other legendary recording artists to the top of their game in the golden age of live music touring"
The book will be available in January 2026 in a limited run.
We'll be taking orders once we have a precise delivery date.
Large format, 452 pages, richly illustrated throughout.
BRUCE JACKSON: SUPERSTAR OF SOUND
He wasn’t formally trained; in fact he was a university dropout. He learned electronics and sound by instinct and invention. He went where no sound engineer had gone before. His technical achievements changed everything and still today play a fundamental role in live-music concerts.
THE SECOND BOOK
The first book took us as far as the end of the road for Elvis. Better than do a second print run of that successful sold-out first book to meet an enduring demand, we went ahead and wrote a comprehensive coverage of Bruce Jackson’s entire pioneering career.
We're still getting orders for our first book 'Bruce Jackson on the Road with Elvis'. We can't fulfill them as we sold every copy long ago. I suggested to a disappointed new customer that they might find a copy on eBay. Well, they are there but I can't believe the second-hand price. We were tempted to do a second print run of the first book but decided against it, preferring to put our energy into the next Bruce project, a comprehensive book on his entire career before, during and after Elvis. - Gary Jackson, BAND BOOK PUBLISHERS
This will be a limited print run. We are taking orders now for October 2025 delivery.
Our new book is loaded with original material throughout its 452 richly-illustrated large-format pages. Everything you imagined is in there, and more. To avoid any images being recklessly disseminated to the social media universe, we will keep it all in the book exclusively for your reading enjoyment. We won't broadcast any of the pics, only the occasional quote so you can get a good idea what is in this remarkable book that's been five years in the making. Fair enough? Thanks for understanding.
