Re: Are you still buying expensive FTD boxsets?

I like them and I do have a few.I've never regretted buying one but I do regret passing on the VLV set so I will consider buying them depending on what it is about.Currently considering the GI Blues set.Lot of money.Any regret there if I do ? If I don't ?

If you suffer from constant FOMO, it ...

The 5CDs will be rereleased seperately later in 2026 as for the BLue Hawaii set

But what about the 1972 In Person Box ? I thought they promised a CD set only release as well. :?

They did. But they also said the exclusive recordings from "Elvis Now In Person 1972" would be re-released in ...

Re: 1976 new years bootleg

The most famous and widely available recording of this show was made by John Herman. The superfan (who knew Elvis personally!) set everything in motion, and used his connections, to somehow record the show over the mixing desk, but wasn't given permission to do so. He was, however, allowed to place ...

Re: New FTD - MAKING OF G.I. BLUES

This is from the official announcement from FTD.

If it mastered by Sebastian, the sound will be solid. If you own prior FTD volumes, then you are buying for the books.

This will be a lovely box set for sure!

The previous two FTD classic albums were also mixed and mastered by Anesini and ...

Re: Harum Scarum Vinyl & The Last Tours, Vol. 3

I’m sorry. How can anyone say this Wonder Of You is ok? It’s terrible as is this whole tour. We hold Elvis to a very low standard when we find these shows acceptable. He totally disrespected his fans with these performances.

Sad but true. A few highlights can be found here and there, but most ...

It's just ridiculous that none of the previous outings featuring these rehearsals (at least four (?), two of them official) were speed-corrected. I'm looking forward to this!

Re: New Elvis CD Announcement: A Grand Finale In Indianapolis

Blatant errors on the front cover (in this case "Market Square Garden ") are always a good indicator of a quality release. Someone clearly had "Madison Square Garden" in mind while designing the cover, and never bothered to double-check. We'll see what this is about but I have my doubts for now ...

Rip It Up is credited to Robert Marascalco / John Marascalco as songwriters. It should actually be Robert Blackwell / John Marascalco.
On April 30, 1977, Hound Dog is listed with a running time of 4:41. The long running time is due to Kathy Westmoreland also being featured on the track with My ...

Austin Butler, hands down. He's - by far - the least annoying and actually manages to get it right more often than not.
