The Belgian Elvis Presley Society reports that the new FTD releases will , if all goes well, be released by the end of next week, For those who are interested in these releases (and yes, I know, some of you are not)... they might arrive just in time for Christmas.

Although, it may be New Year for UK fans as it seems to take longer to arrive here, plus there is the sorting and packing to do before sending them out in the busy Christmas post. I could be wrong of course - and will be pleasantly surprised if I am :-)

It is high time FTD should go digital. Not streaming - but downloads. And the books also.

Books like a Boy from Tupelo of King Creole are historically significant. They should not be limited to just a few Elvis ...

Personally, I still buy the expensive FTD box sets, but rather reluctantly. I'm interested in the audio, not those heavy books what boost those sets to ridiculous prices. I'm curious what you think.

Most things seems to look good. Touchable...collectable. Now in 2025 Reel Trax guys might use musical tools. They used only softs.
Terrible hiss has nothing to do with music... and even seems nice, Elvis' voice is not natural. Is so far that can be called faked.

The re-issue isnt from the original Circle G team. The same was done a few years ago with the releases from DAE.

Another Bootleg that has unreleased outtakes is the 1996 'Famous Groove' release 'The Complete Frankie & Johnny Sessions'. They are not really complete because some of the tapes are lost or not found yet...

These tracks are not exactly Elvis' opus magnum... but still... here it is.
