Exciting!

Although, it may be New Year for UK fans as it seems to take longer to arrive here, plus there is the sorting and packing to do before sending them out in the busy Christmas post. I could be wrong of course - and will be pleasantly surprised if I am :-)

Re: The Perfect BMG / Sony mainstream release 1977 - 2025

For me, it's got to be Essential Elvis 5: Rhythm and Country. When this came out the Stax sessions had not really been covered by bootlegs much and the material was all unheard to me. The sound was very good and the cuts included were strong. It was a worthy follow-up to Essential 4; it just ...

BBJ:
Something for everybody
Roustabout
Girl Happy

Really cool! I've never seen the BBJ pressings for those anywhere so you were very lucky.

The BBJ pressing of Roustabout sounds phenomenal! Well worth tracking down if you can.

well I am 3 away from completing my Boppin Bob collection, but must admit it`s getting pretty hard now. I am very surprised (maybe I shouldn't be ;)) that some of these sellers have no idea what I am talking about with regards to BB etchings signature. Anyway, any help would be appreciated.

Help me oit someone:Does this mean that the INTS release we have in our BBJ list actually has an UK sleeve and German PL vinyl, and there doesn't exist a copy with pressed INTS vinyl pressed in UK?

From Discogs it seems that it is the 1982 version that has the BBJ signature and was pressed in ...

The label does not refer to the INTS catalogue number - so looks like the UK release was a bit of an afterthought

IMO the Pete Norman pressings on the green International label soundjust as good as BBJ. A Date With Elvis is fantastic.
