It is great to hear these kinds of mix repairs as we see on JimmyCool's version of Do The Clam

Now what I would love to hear is a repaired version (minus those mentioned background noises) of Mary In The Morning with the same mix of the 70s box. If anyone has attempted this, please post here

Yes, to clarify, what i meant to say is that there was some kind of communication or “line problem” in the first part of the song between Elvis’ microphone and the RCA multitrack recording equipment.

Very true! The I Got A Woman sequence in OnTour movie is far from perfect, but at least it sounds much better than what we got in the box set which sounds like audience recording.

With advanced technology these days, i would have expected someone to have taken the better vocal from On Tour movie ...

From my recollection: The Hound Dog performance is a mashup beginning with an Ed Sullivan performance (not sure which one) and with the August 11, 1970 Midnight show version originally in the Lost Performances.

I offer an update to my post as i saw the film again, this time on the IMAX screen, and i can tell say that the detail is incredible, although it can get a little grainy at times, showing limitations of the source material.

The aspect ratios of the sources jump between many different sizes, TTWII ...
