Re: what were your first Elvis LPs?
The first LP I ever received was Candlelite Music's "The Legendary Magic of Elvis Presley" as a 5-year-old in 1982. Great little collection. Here's the TV advert that I saw for it.

Re: Elvis vinyl related discussion
A record that I have been looking for came up for sale on ebay last week. I didn't pull the trigger immediately (because of its hefty price) but someone else did. It is the rare white top monaural edition of "Pot Luck With Elvis" in great condition. Oh well -- still on the hunt.

If it is mastered by Sebastian, the sound will be solid. If you own prior FTD volumes, then you are buying for the books.

Re: New FTD Vinyl - Good Times Re-Issue
If you don't have the original LP, this is a nice way to obtain at a decent price. The one thing that really set those early releases apart were the picture inner sleeves. That ceased with the On Stage 1970 release.

Are both releases out yet? I was going to order from Elvis Shop of London but it looks like The Last Tours remains a pre-order. Thanks.

Re: Elvis vinyl related discussion
I noticed this on eBay think it’s UK seller, they have for sale ‘Gold Records Vol 4 rare Never Ending Sleeve’.
According to the description, I don’t think the seller realise its rarity amongst collectors. I’d have it myself but I’ve already got a copy. Plus I’m at that stage of life where I’m ...

The Loving You LP is one of the best. Just a great release.
The LP "Shock, Rattle and Roll" out the Pink and Black label could be considered a Laurel offshoot. It is another Ger design and production. I don't have that release in my collection but on the look for it.
The "Loving you ...

Re: The Famous Groove
This release is from the French "Tulsa Records" label, as the cover and label shows. I placed it in this thread because I suspect that it is from the same makers as the two sets mentioned above. The layout and housing of the CD's are quite similar. But I could be wrong...
