Re: Elvis vinyl related discussion

Yes, I agree. The reason I sold about 80-90% of my collection a few years ago is, as you say, the future — meaning I don’t want my relatives to inherit it and have no idea about its value and so on.Not to mention all the work that comes with selling a huge collection.
Also, my experience is that ...

Re: Polk Theatre, August 6, 1956 - isolated performance audio

That was a great listen (no, I am not being sarcastic). It is not hard to imagine the excitement in the crowd. Boy, we can clearly ...

Re: Elvis vinyl related discussion

In 1968, RCA Victor in the US switched from black to orange labels. Around the same time, the 1950s records in stereo received a red "Electronically Reprocessed Stereo" sticker in the upper right corner of the cover.
Admittedly, I prefer mono to these fake-stereo versions on my record player, but ...

I will continue this series of confirmed BBJ pressings by adding two UK titles that were probably pressed before the green label International series was started. At least the No.2 is also available with 100% identical sleeve but with an orange label...but be aware that the orange labels were ...

German pressings afterwards had on the front of the ...

it is a bit unsharp but looks like some German pressings of the Camdens and A Portrait in Music. Congrats!
